We cannot even believe it's July 1st already!! Time flies when you're hanging out with the coolest pups in Rochester, like Tito the mini Goldendoodle!

Last week we were reunited with Riley, our Golden Retriever friend, after not seeing her for over a year!! We missed her beautiful face so much . It was awesome to catch up and spend some time with her sweet self!!

We are excited to welcome this big, handsome fellow to the Rochester Dog Walkers family!! Doc is a happy mastiff/lab mix with beautiful brown eyes. We're looking forward to many fun adventures together!

Dog Breed of the Week: the Australian Cattle Dog These dogs were first known as "Blue Heelers", and are sometimes still referred to as that today. Cattle dogs are known for their tremendous drive to work, and need to be challenged physically and mentally so they won't get into too much mischief! Today is National Reptile Awareness Day! Do any of you have reptiles as pets? We'd love to hear about them! Our Field Manager, B, has a few reptiles, including a yellow belly turtle , a leopard gecko, a Blue Iguana, and a Veiled Chameleon!!

Dog Breed of the Week: the Goldendoodle . A Goldendoodle is a crossbreed of a Golden Retriever and Poodle. In the United States, these pups were first bred in the 1990's and have become one of the most popular types of dogs! This beautiful Goldendoodle is Layla , whom the RDW team visits twice a week for walks!

Drax is one of our newest puppy friends He is a 5 month old black lab mix that we visit for mid-day walks! His owners were coming home on their lunch break every day to take him outside, but needed a better solution. The RDW team is so happy to help out with Drax!!

They also have an extremely strong work ethic, with the impulse to heard almost anything from birds to kids to other dogs These guys are definitely not couch potatoes! Abby and Dexter are a pair of Aussies that we've been visiting for a few months, helping them get out some of that energy when their humans are away!!
