Service dog training and having a little fun. Took the "leave it" command up a notch and placed a treat on top of each paw #servicedog #servicedogintraining #servicedogsofinstagram #servicedogtraining #servicedogtrainer #servicedogtrainingprogram #victorny #rochesterny #upstatenewyork #upstateny

When you agree to watch a horse over 4th of July weekend. Guess we're expanding our client base to accept other animals #greatdane #bigdog #rochesterny #rochester #dogtrainer #dogtrainersofinstagram #petsitterlife

Buddy, who we were told was a golden doodle but I strongly believe is definitely part wolf hound. One of the most attentive and hardest working dog I've had the pleasure of training. He definitely didn't fall short in learning quick, retaining it, and executing everything.

I only got a few more days with this clumsy fast growing pup. Time flys. Show me another trainer that connects as much with their dogs / students as I do.

Lana, "While your dog sits in a kennel at a boarding facility, I get to hang out on a couch in my own mini vacation while my parents went to go travel. Don't worry about me mom."

I swear this dogs paws are literally as big as my freaking hand. Idk if to feel inadequate or to be proud of him

Can you walk your dog without having to truly hold the leash? Constantly wrapping the leash around your hand or holding it woth both to get more power? Literally 5 minutes worth of training can get you a solid foundation to walk your dog like this.

I can't with how big his paws are the photo does not do him justice.

Tigger a 10 week old Great Dane and Gorlami and 7mo old St Bernard came into the board and train together 6 days ago. Both of these puppies are doing amazing!

3 days into Gorlamis board and train and this 7 month old St. Bernard puppy can already walk on a leash, wait at the door, and "stay" surrounded by distractions and 2 major roads.

When a professional dog trainer pet sits for you, it's inevitable that your puppy is gonna get residual training. Certain behaviors we train are automatic. Unless you pay for a board and train training is in no way guaranteed but when we do this 24/7 and are good at it then you're bound to get way more then you pay for! Why pay the same price OR MORE at a boarding facility that will only cage your dog the majority of the time. Shop small, shop local.

If your dog trainer is not getting attached to your dogs while they have them for a board and train, then you're not getting what you pay for. It's just like cooking, you can tell when someone cooks with love and when someone just tries to follow a recipe. Always do your research before hiring a trainer. I've seen thousands of trainers come and go over the course of a 10 years because they think "oh well I can get my dog to sit, why not."

When you start watching this puppy when she's just 10 weeks old and it's only been two weeks and she's already doubled in size

Train your dog to jump on new / different objects while also teaching them a stay command. All in the hopes of getting a good picture of course! In all seriousness though, this takes practice and is good for the dog because it stimulates different muscles and helps maintain impulsiveness to not chase the dozens of squirrels that were behind me while I was taking this photo. Start out small/low objects then increase height!

Nala went on several ong walks today! Rumor has it that a tired dog is a happy dog... If this photo doesn't solidify that then idk what will

No matter rain or shine, we're out working. When you pay for a board and train we don't get days off. Second, if you're not socializing your dog to anything and everything they could possibly experience in life then you're not doing your dog justice. Socialization is not just with other dogs. It's with fire works, thunderstorms, squirrels, etc. If your dog has anxiety to fireworks, there's a very high probability it could've been prevented if you trained and/or socialized yo...unger! Training should start way before you get your puppy and trust me, you pay for what you get. The right trainer might cost you more money due to their experience and knowledge, but trust that they will save you thousands from costly mistakes you'd otherwise had made. Nalas mom made an amazing investment that will help her for nalas life and started at the perfect time. Don't wait until your dog is 7 years old!! See more

Meet Bear , a mastiff mix with high anxiety! First hour pet sitting was definitely rough for him, but when pet sitting with a professional trainer with over a decade of experience, we were able to get him to calm down pretty quick.
