For the last several days we struggled with slower local fishing, and inconsistent ocean fishing. Yesterday that all changed. Large waves of big fish moved into our area. We caught and released fish to over 50lbs, with a few slot keepers mixed in. These next couple of weeks will be your best chance at breaking the 40lb and 50lb mark. We haven’t been keeping up on Facebook, but we’ve been doing very well with the striped bass. This Sunday, we have rescheduled a shark trip, and are available for bass charter. We made several trips over this holiday weekend, all but one trip landed their limit and released. On the one slow trip we had poor drift conditions but still managed 4 keeper bass.
