To everyone that wishes to travel out of the US this summer or even this year: The US Department of State is now taking almost 5 months to process a passport application. Expedited passports are now taking 3 months. If you have plans to travel this summer and your passport is expired, you may have to cancel your plans. With much sadness we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato this morning. Paul was a cherished husband,father, grandfather,brother and uncle. He was a very special person who could light up a room just by walking into it. Paul was warm, caring and had a jovial personality. His family, friends and coworkers are devastated by his passing.
