So thankful God gave us sunshine and a breeze yesterday that allowed the hay to dry enough we could get everything that was mowed down baled and under cover before dark! Even more thankful when we woke up to rain this morning.

Haying on hold due to the rainy forecast this week, so we changed some sap tubing spouts in the woods for next year. Beautiful day to be in the woods!

Corn chopping season

Roggiedale Farm 27.11.2020

Silo roof painted which completes this summer's painting of roofs (toolshed roof done a couple weeks ago). So now we are ready to chop more hay into the silo, as well as getting ready to do corn soon! Going into Sept. and we have had a few cooler days/ nights with a hint of fall in the air! It's been a great summer and growing season, and we are thankful!

And...we are possibly done baling hay for the season! A few more loads to unload, but the baler is unhooked and chopping is up next... once the silo roof gets finished painting.
