On Saturday, July 17th, The Rome Capitol Theater will have a grand re-opening to unveil the 1939 interior restoration. The evening will begin with a Cocktail Hour and Reception at 5pm next door in the building formerly occupied by Brenda’s Natural Foods which is currently housing the Rome Art Association’s 2021 Rome Regional exhibit; offering 100 invited and paying guests the perfect setting for the occasion. At 630 pm, we will move into the theater for the grand re-opening events. Tickets for the Cocktail Hour and Reception are $50 and includes special advance tours of the Capitol to see the work done and entry to the re-opening night activities. Food at the cocktail hour is also included with a cash bar featuring beer and wine severed by Copper City Brewing. Tickets are available at www.RomeCapitol.com

A reminder that today at noon we will have a volunteer work party to complete some very important projects before our July 17 re-opening. Please attend if you can - every little bit helps! We will do the same next Friday and Saturday.
