God Gives Everyone A Chance.And that is why we go..

ROTPM had a really difficult day yesterday as we received the news that two of our participants, one from the female facility and one from the men's, passed away immediately upon release due to drug overdoses. The scourge of drugs that comes from hopelessness is destroying countless lives in our communities. We thank God that we were able to introduce them to Jesus for the short time they were with us yet we clearly still mourn these tragic losses. Please join us in praying for their families. Jesus is the only answer. This is why we go...

Letter from a participant: "I was so ashamed of myself Lula I couldn't look you in the eye in the beginning but when I noticed you didn't judge me and didn't pity me but knew I needed your strength to continue on believing and as a sign to show me He is still thinking about me, I was able to look up and meet your eye and understand hope and unconditional love" There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus!

One of our participants at Nassau County Correctional recently shared this: "I never aspired to be anything but a drug dealer because I didn't know anyone who wasn't a drug dealer. I didn't know any teachers or lawyers or doctors, only drug dealers. Now I am an addict and I know the only way out for me is God" And that is why we go.... Please pray for the incarcerared, there is much more going on than their crime. Be a Light!

Letter received from a gentleman who participated in our first services at Nassau County Correctional Center: "Rev Lula your motherly presence was felt. I don't know but it felt as if I was in the presence of one of my family members. For the last few months I have been asking God for a sign, a reason to truly believe, and someone to help me fortify my faith....I am joyous because I know He heard me." They don't call her Mama-Lu for nothing! That's why we go....Be a Light!

ROTPM is back in action tomorrow at Nassau County Correctional Center and we could not be more humbled or excited! The men we met last week have been haunting our thoughts and we cannot wait to see them and continue to provide them the love, mercy and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Please keep these men and the team in your prayer Be a Light, always!

The Lord has expanded ROTPM's territories and we stand in awe! Today ROTPM was able to host inaugural bible study services at the Nassau County Correctional Facility. To hear the testimonies of these men, we know God is on the move! Looking forward to a rich harvest for the kingdom... Be a Light!
