We've always been huge Ardmore fans! We love gifting Ardmore tableware to our past clients. It was a dream come true to actually visit the Ardmore studio and the museum while exploring KwaZulu Natal recently. It was so special meeting some of the current artists and seeing several ceramic pieces in the making. One artist we spoke to who was adding pin prick detail to an enormous crocodile, told us that it had been over 3 months in the making so far. Besides the sumptuous ga...llery shop, where the season's theme was masked monkeys and sanitising elephants and pangolins...we spent ages in the museum which showcases many of the early works and is a tribute to Bonnie Ntshalintshali and the many local artists who's creative expression of African folklore is what has made the exotic ceramic creations so internationally sought after as functional art investments today. #ardmoreceramics #artsafari #africanart #travel2021 #luxurytravel #traveladdict #travelafrica #southafricanart #kwazulunatalsafari
