This #GivingTuesday we are giving thanks for everyone in our community who makes our work possible. So far in 2020, we've: Filed 98 green card applications for our clients... Opened 273 new cases Made almost 500 referrals, connecting young people to resources like medical care, health insurance, and food assistance. Our work is only possible because of the generosity of our community, from pro bono attorneys to volunteer translators and generous donors. We are grateful that you enabled us to advocate for the young people we serve. With your help, we can commit to doing even more good in 2021. https://www.safepassageproject.org/donate/

#mujeresimparables #unstoppablewomen #quenadatedetenga #juntosimparables El Poder En Ti Telemundo (: Anthony Randazzo | 1028 Photography LLC | @1028photo)

It is deeply troubling that #NYIFUP and other legal services for vulnerable New Yorkers are at risk. 78 organizations are calling upon @NYGovCuomo and @NYS_DOB to continue championing our immigrant neighbors in the face of federal attacks. https://www.vera.org/protect-new-york-immigration-legal-ser

The Supreme Court ruled the Trump administration's termination of DACA was arbitrary and capricious! As we celebrate this victory for immigrant youth, we will not lose sight of the work to be done. #HomeIsHere #DACALives

As the nation remains focused on COVID-19, the U.S. government has aggressively begun to rush the deportations of some of the most vulnerable migrant children in its care to countries where they have been raped, beaten or had a parent killed, according to attorneys, court filings and congressional staff.
THE CITY NY featured a Safe Passage Project client and Supervising Social Worker Samantha Norris in their coverage of this troubling situation.
