120 guests were provided French toast, sausage, fruit, sandwiches, cereal, milk, juice, pizza slice, salad, and a loaf of bread for the weekend to help their resources go a little further. In addition, children were given activity packs containing fun weekend projects. Thank you to all our volunteers for their help and dedication during these challenging COVID months.

There is much that happens behind the scenes at Emmaus to prepare for the 1000+ meals that are distributed during any one week. Volunteers continue to serve and adapt around COVID restrictions.

Some volunteers have returned, since COVID presented in March, to make 300 sandwiches for Friday bagged lunches. It’s great to have you back!

Today was a day of records. 147 meal bags distributed (that’s 2 meals per bag for a grand total of 294 meals out the door)! And 45 grocery bags distributed in the first 15 minutes of food pantry day for a total of 80 bags today. Sadly, it speaks to the increasing need of our guests for food - BUT - remarkably it speaks to the generosity of so many that support our mission and make it happen! Thank you for all you do!

Our children’s activity volunteers provided bags with treats and books for our youth. The number of meals served this week continues to grow with most days over the 100 mark. Many thanks to all the Emmaus supporters, and our volunteers, who help to make this possible!
