MISSION NABUCLOD July 2021. Thank you for sharing in our mission to bring God’s love to our Aeta brethren in the Mountain of Nabuclod. Thank you to all donors, ...sponsors, volunteers, scholars and convent staff for making this effort possible. We served hot arroz caldo, cold melon flavored milk and some biscuits. We ended the mission with a nourished body and happy heart with the catechism, Holy Mass and feeding program. Thank you Lord! God bless us all! See more

Zep 3: 1-2; 9-13; Mt 21: 28-32 God’s promise to remove braggarts from our midst is exhilarating. God will send instead faithful, humble people who don’t lie about what they’ll do; they simply, quietly get the job done. In gospel terms, they are the first son. Maybe they don’t collect awards or trumpet achievements, but eventually they do the father’s work. When have we been more like the second son than the first?

Saint Martin de Porres' feast day is celebrated November 3rd. The son of a Spanish nobleman and a freed woman from Panama, Saint Martin de Porres experienced prejudice and racism all throughout his life. The way he lived, with charity and respect for all people, is an inspirational example of how we should also live. He is the patron saint of social justice efforts and those seeking racial harmony. We pray for his intercession that we may also work to end racism and prejudice in our world.
