(I'm not shipping a 13'6" rod, that would be a nightmare haha) REPORT... Behind the shop was great two days ago, slower yesterday and now very slow today. I lot of the kings that were here are further up river now but we are seeing steelies and browns consistently moving through. I'd say start from Pineville up or further down near the staircase to see what's new coming through. - Zana

My best catch of the morning. It’s been a slow start to the day and I was soaked to the bone pretty quickly, but I hooked into a few Kings. A few steelies moving through too and 2 browns have been landed behind the store. Water level is at least 300cfs which is definitely pushing some fish in. I’ll be going out around 4-5 today until dark to see what it’s like and I’ll let everyone know. Zana

Hooked 3 Steelies earlier and got a decent king before dark. The one with the rod my friend Kevin got and it was a good 40. And everyone thinks the run is over by now. To that I say HA! With this water level up I think we’re looking at a fun weekend. Zana

Good Morning Everyone! The rain seems to have pushed the crowds out and pushed the fish in. I've seen a lot shooting past the shop this morning already and I have a hunch there are Steelies in the mix as well based off the ones I saw yesterday. Overall I think we're looking at a really fun weekend. *Updates for The Shop*... It's been a weird season both with the low water level and restrictions with Covid-19, but with everyone's support it was as good of a year as could be expected and I fully plan to be open Fall 2021! I do have to make this a short season for the store though so I can get back to Wisconsin and attend to some things in my personal life. That being said, I'll be closing for the season before November 1st. I'll be back in mid March for the Spring Steelie run as well. During the off season I want to work on an online store to make products available year round. Please leave suggestions for things you would like to see listed. Even products for other types of fishing since it doesn't have to just be salmon gear. I would love to hear everyone's feedback so I can try to build the best product selection possible. Since I'm leaving next week, if there's anything you'd like to grab before the season ends or for those of you that need flies for the Steelie run, message me or stop in. I can easily mail orders of flies or Trout Beads to your house so you have them ready to go. I'll update soon on how the fishing is throughout the week! - Zana

Limited out this morning on a few 25+ pounders and saw a handful of steelies moving through too. All caught on red Estaz flies tied on #6 blackbirds *addition - little jack I got earlier in the morning. All fish released ... Zana

Kings, Coho and a Brown. Not a bad day on the river and reports of Steelies moving through the DSR all day so expect them in the Town Pool by morning.

Great fish from a great weekend of fishing.

Best day so far this year. From the ballpark down was great and stayed consistent throughout the day. I had a few people tell me the DSR cleaned house too and a lot of fresh fish are moving through. We're supposed to get some rain tomorrow which should help keep things going too. The downside is that it is a holiday weekend and trying to find a place to fish is tough and most were getting casted over and broken off. So in order to get the fish we've had to use lighter line..., but then using lighter line it's hard to not break off when someone with heavier line wraps you up. Let's see what the rest of the weekend brings! Zana
