Good evening everyone, we have some good news, the sign has been fixed we hope. Thanks to the sign guy Rich Canero who worked today for 2 hours in the cold, win...d and snow, we have a new connection from the firehouse to the sign. It seems to be working and with the new update we believe that we can do more things with the sign to get our important information out to the public. Please bear with us as we try new things to get the word out. Thank you all for your understanding while we were getting everything worked out. See more

Another year is in the books for Trees For Troops. This was a trying year with everything going on and we were not sure how we would do. We I will tell you that... Tom, Mike and myself were just over joyed with the outpouring of support for our military families. The support from around the county, the fire departments, the businesses, the people that dropped money in the buckets at the coin drop, the people who dropped food off and the people who cooked food for us for the coin drop. We are blessed to have the greatest people, in the greatest part of the state, the Hudson Valley. To the people who came out today to load trees, you are the best. Everyone worked so hard and it went off without a hitch. To the members of the Pleasant Valley Fire Department, you are without a doubt the best. 400 trees are loaded on the FedEx trailer and will soon be delivered to our military families thanks to you all. The last tree that was loaded was a very special tree, it was tagged in memory of Tom (Tagger) Wagner. Tom you were a great guy, who would do anything for anyone, and you will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace. See more
