This old family butcher block came in today for restoration. We'll be sanding it down and building new stand. This monster is made from maple and weighs about 400 pounds!

Intarsia is a woodworking technique that uses varied shapes, sizes, and species of wood fitted together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. Here is a beautiful intarsia piece that a customer built using a variety of wood she purchased recenty! Awesome job, we love it!
