The Heart to Heart Grateful Patient Program at Samaritan Medical Center gives patients, residents, and their families and friends the opportunity to show gratitude to an individual or department who played a special role in their care. When a gift is made, the honoree or department receives a special certificate and lapel pin to wear proudly. We have received several donations this year and several staff members have been recognized. We plan to highlight them over the next few weeks. Congratulations to Hillary Youngs, RN in our Acute Rehabilitation Unit, who was recently recognized by a grateful patient! Hillary also received a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing.
