Here it is.the EPIC loop! Little over 20 miles with plenty of elevation, rocks, roots & more! The route takes you on some of the more challenging terrain in Pittstown & Grafton. It hits some of the scenic lake trails in Grafton as well as the fast DH segments in Pittstown. Plan on 4+ hours of grinding, climbing, ripping and rolling!... The EPIC Ride is only a few weeks away! Plans are coming together for the event. The ride will begin & end at the Long Pond Beach area in Grafton Lakes State Park. We’ll break into a few groups based on pace & ability. Please allow yourself enough time to gear up, sign in and be ready to roll at 9am. The ride will be approx. 20 miles long through the trails of GLSP & Pittstown State Forest. Beautiful scenery, long climbs & long descents on intermediate to advanced level trai...ls. More details to come on the ride route, mileage, elevation, etc. We’ll have a support station at the mid-way point of the ride in Pittstown State Forest. Drinks and snacks will be available, as well as mechanical & emotional support! Once we’ve made our way back to Grafton it will be time for some grillin’ & chlllin’ by the lake! Lunch & refreshments will be waiting for you courtesy of SMBA! Bring your swimsuit & towel to cool off in the lake after the ride! We’ll also have SMBA t-shirts & swag available for sale. Please join us on Saturday 4/24 from 8am-12pm to clean up Daniels Road State Forest trails. Activities will include: raking, leaf blowing, stone work, and bridg...e repair. (We already took care of this tree!) If you have a blower, bring it! Food and beverages in the parking lot afterwards. Perfect socially distant activity! Thank You to everyone that came out to our Earth Day / Trail Day in Pittstown this year! We had a great turnout and got a lot accomplished! The trails are a little wet right now, but once they dry they will be riding great thanks to all your hard work! Big things happening in Pittstown with expansion & new trail access! Stay tuned!

Thank you to all the brave souls who came out last Saturday in the snow, sleet, fog to help us move around big piles of rocks and build a few new turnpikes on the Long Pond Trail in Grafton! Job well done!

Missing dog. Name: Dobby, 2 yrs old Wearing a black vest with orange trim and still has brown leash attached to harness. He is shy and timid but is super frien...dly once he knows that you are a safe person. Do not chase him. If you have a dog with you he is more likely to approach you. Please call me if you see(n) him. He is likely wandering the trails. He bolted from Saratoga Gardens Apartment Complex yesterday at 9:30am and has been since at Daniels Road State Park at 2:30pm and 8pm yesterday (9/8). 248-534-9745

Big thanks to the folks who came out and braved the snow, wind & cold on Saturday to give the Pittstown trails some love! Parts of the Knuckle and Red Pine trails received some berm maintenance and flow adjustments! Should be ready to rip once they dry out from our May snow storm!

Trail conditions are shaping up nicely for the Grafton Winterfest!

Conditions at Daniels Road yesterday were excellent! 50% crunchy snow and 50%frozen dirt. Regular tires are good to go or get the fattie out early. If temps warm, it will turn messy fast so get out there now! Be aware that hunting season is now open and hunting is legal on the property so wear bright colors!

Just a friendly reminder that southern zone deer season (gun) opens today November 16th. Both Daniels Road and Pittstown State Forest allow hunting so wear bright colors and be seen!
