Current County covid Hospitalizations: 16. New county deaths: 1. Current Regional covid hospitalizations: 220. Patients in ICU: 36.

Newly appointed Saratoga County Public Health Services Commissioner Dr. Daniel Kuhle reports today the 7-day rolling average in Saratoga County testing positive for COVID-19 has reached 4.0%. According to Cluster Zone Metrics chart, that positivity rate for 10 days is one of two criteria for code Orange.
12:20 am Update - Saratoga Springs Charter Proposition: NO - 6,324 (54.94%) YES - 5,186 (45.06%)... * According to reports, a good number of absentee ballots - greater than the number that separate the YES and NO votes - have yet to be counted, although the math indicates a great majority of YES votes would need to be among those absentee ballots to turn the count around. It is assumed these will be opened and counted some time next week. 20th Congressional District: incumbent Democrat Paul Tonko leads Republican challenger Elizabeth Joy 55-42 with 293,000 votes counted. 630 of 632 election districts reporting. 21st Congressional District: incumbent Republican Elise Stefanik leads Democrat challenger Tedra Cobb 63-35. with 250,000 votes counted. 467 of 531 districts reporting. State Senate 43rd District Daphne Jordan (R,C,I) leads Patrick Nelson (D, WF) 56-41 with all districts reporting. State Senate 49th District James Tedisco (R,C,WF) leads Thearse McCalmon (D) 65-32 with 186 of 228 districts reporting. 112th Assembly District Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I) leads Joseph Seeman (D, WF) 60-37, with all districts reporting. 113th Assembly District Carrie Woerner (D, I, SAM) leads David Catalfamo (R,C) by a 49.49% - 47.85% margin. In real numbers, that’s a 29,896 - 28,905 lead, with all districts reporting.

Total Active voters: 169,002. 49,632 Democrat (up about 9,200 since the 2016 election)... 62,742 Republican (up about 2,000 since the 2016 election) 43,197 registered blank independents, unaffiliated with any party (up about 5,000 since 2016) 2,696 Conservative 9,275 Independence Working Families, Green, Libertarian, and others each comprised of less than 1,000. Of the 57 counties in New York State outside of New York City, Saratoga County ranks number 11 in total registered voters. The 10 counties with more registered voters (in alphabetical order): Albany, Dutchess, Erie, Monroe, Nassau, Onondaga, Orange, Rockland, Suffolk, Westchester. Presidential Race 2016 (local counts) 112,429 total ballots cast. Countywide in Saratoga in 2016, the Trump/Pence ticket bested the Clinton/Kane ticket 54,575 to 50,913, and 6,941 combined ballots cast for Stein/Baraka and Johnson/Weld. City of SARATOGA SPRINGS 18,654 registered voters. Saratoga Springs Charter Proposition to amend the City Charter is on the ballot. The last time a citizen-led City Charter referendum proposed change, in 2017, the measure was defeated by a razor-thin margin of 4,458 - 4,448.
