What’s the scariest thing we can think of this Halloween? Not filing your FAFSA! If you're planning on attending SBU in the Fall 21 semester, register for the Taking The Fear Out of the FAFSA event at https://enroll.stonybrook.edu/portal/live-events. Happy Halloween SBU!
Happy Monday Seawolves! Depending on the information from your FAFSA, you may receive Federal Student Loans in your next financial aid package. Keep these things in mind IF you choose to accept Federal Student Loans. #MoneyManagementMonday
Happy #MoneyManagementMonday! Today we are talking about the SAR. After submitting your FAFSA, you will receive your SAR in 3-5 days. Based on the information from your FAFSA, you will receive your Expected Family Contribution. Your EFC is not the amount of money your family will have to pay for college, nor is it the amount of federal student aid you will receive. For more information about the SAR, use this link! https://studentaid.gov/complete-aid-process/how-calculated
