A letter from Governor Cuomo. It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in a commemorative motorcycle ride and ceremony on September 11th as we pay tribute to the strength, courage, and heroism of the police and fire department personnel who led our response and recovery efforts nearly seventeen years ago. We would be proud to have you join us for this special event as we commemorate the fearless devotion to duty and service our police and fire department personnel show...ed in responding to that terrible tragedy. The commemorative ride, comprised of official and unofficial contingents from departments across the state, will depart from Albany, the Hudson Valley and Long Island on the morning of September 11th and convene in New York City for a luncheon and memorial ceremony.
