250 gallons of fresh tree sap. This massive tank of sap when boiled down will yield roughly 5 gallons of syrup. Should be a good final weekend of maple production locally until the warm temps arrive early next week which will finish our season.

We will have light medium and dark syrup ( amber, golden and dark) along with candy and cream for our open house Sunday noon to 4. We will be boiling and bottling so come out and see how its done. Please wear a mask and keep your distance from any other groups. Only 1 family/group at a time in the shack. I will have a fire pit outside for people that are waiting.

We are ready when mother nature is. All taps in. Shack is in good order so as soon as it warms up the 2021 season will commence. Ironically, we are getting hit by the biggest lake effect snow event I have witnessed in this area in 15 years. Let it snow.... That will keep the woods cool when we do thaw. Dark available at our farm stand now. All sizes. I will announce when 2021 product is bottled.

While cleaning around the shack yesterday I found a sealed 40 gallon drum of Dark syrup we made last March. I can't believe I overlooked that syrup. Long story short ; I heated, filtered and bottled a bunch. Our stand is stocked and the Apple farm has syrup. I will get to our other retailers tomorrow. If you ordered syrup I will be in touch by the weekend. It is Dark syrup and has a nice taste to it. Enjoy and we are so happy to have found some syrup!!!

Well folks we are down to this. Pretty much sold out. Thank you for an amazing year of syrup sales. I am taking pre orders for 2021 syrup. Keep in mind production generally begins mid to late February and lighter syrup will come off the evaporator first. Dark and Very dark by mid/late March. E mail or PM me for pre-orders and I will contact you as soon as the fresh stuff is bottled.
