Baby Dusty says, If I sort of fits, I sits. I love this goat lol
I brought a new goat into the herd a few weeks ago and she's finally getting acclimated with the rest of the goats so I thought I'd introduce her - This is Echo Hills Willow Breeze I'm really looking forward to the improvements she's going to bring to my herd - this girl has generations of awesome milk production behind her and beautiful conformation - everything you want in a miniature nubian. Can't wait to see how she develops!
First baby miniature nubian born at Seven Feathers Farm Polka Stripe Farm Nairobi (aka Sugar) x Sheepgate Farm Elvis A beautiful, 6th gen, moonspotted, healthy little buckling with gorgeous breed character. Sugar had an effortless delivery and is being a wonderful momma Welcome to the world little one!
A little less than a month to go before before we get to meet the first baby mini nubians born on the farm I'm hoping Sugar has a quick and uneventful delivery I'm thinking she has 1-2 buns in the oven for us. Think pink!
Just found this blue bellied beauty in the garden! I'm not sure what species it is, it's certainly not acting like a rat snake (not aggressive) and I've never seen a rat snake with a blue underbelly like this before. The head doesn't seem right either. Black racer maybe? I let him go far far away from the chicken coop, don't need him eating the babies, but if I didn't have the babies right now I'd put him right under the goat shed to eat all the mice! He's the perfect size. Edited to add: just looked it up, definitely a black racer. Very cool!
