Through a press release, shared by the Conference’s official Twitter account, the NEC Council of Presidents has reaffirmed the initial postponement of all Sports Competition and Championships.

The ladies of the St. Francis College Women’s Soccer Team are known for more than what they do more on the field. These dedicated women truly embody the Franciscan spirit as they have been giving back to their community in many ways.

On September 9th, 2020, students at St. Francis College were welcomed back onto campus and began remote learning. For the current freshman, Class of 2024, this has been a less than ordinary experience. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, life has been changing for everyone and continues to shift.

This year, sport looked different not only for the professionals but also for colleges. In the North East Conference (NEC), all sporting seasons have been pushed back due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, all sporting disciplines are awaiting a decision from the NEC concerning training and the resuming of their seasons. Meanwhile, at St. Francis College, multiple teams are back and have begun training.

A brand-new Amnesty International Chapter is currently being established at St. Francis College. This Chapter will be the first of its kind to be established at the College. Changing the world can begin with one idea from one student and our ultimate goal is to be able to provide students with the wealth of resources available through our partnership with AIUSA and work together to bring those ideas to life, said one of the Co-Moderators of the Chapter, Esther Hassell.
