Last evening a group of us from Sherburne Historic Park Society traveled to Brookfield to visit their Historical Society and attend a meeting. We were invited to participate in their Neighboring Historical Societies program. Lee Perrin gave a short talk and brought some of our calendars and shared some of our other ideas for creating income. We browsed their museum on our way out and got some ideas for our own museum. It was a pleasant evening.

There is a website titled nyupstate.com. Recently a photographer named Kathe Harrington was in town taking photos of various sites in Sherburne. The pics are really good if anyone is interested. She photographed the property around the cabin and inside the one room schoolhouse.
