With yesterday's exploding egg mishap, I was thinking about my pressure cooker. (My eggs weren't in this thing). We have been using it for a few years. I always see people looking for great recipes. This morning as I headed down to my home office cave, I put some eggs on the stove to hard boil. I asked my 10 year old to keep an eye on them and turn them off when the timer went off. This was my first mistake. If you leave eggs boiling in a pot until the water is completely gone the eggs will turn into smoking balls of fire. Then they will shoot out of the pot and explode all over your kitchen and fill your house with smoke. Here is what we learned.... 1- Make sure you check your smoke detectors. They need to work. change the batteries or change the detector. 2- Don't leave kids in charge of the stove. 3- Make sure your home insurance premiums are paid. 4- Eggs will explode and leave a mess all over your kitchen. #eggs #smokedetectors #insurance #homeoffice
