Good morning Nation : just a FYI from Peter Dillon’s. Do to current NYC distancing guidelines , our inside capacity is 24 people MAXIMUM for this coming Sundays game! There are no visible televisions for outside seating . We open at 12:00 at it is First Come, First seated. We can not take reservations, and there will be no seat saving ! We ask that you get there as early as possible . We can’t wait for Dillon’s to be packed to full capacity again! Stay safe and thank you for your patience ! Shields Up !

Good Morning Nation, and Happy Victory Monday! The Raiders slogged out a win, beating the Browns 16-6 in a very weather filled game in Cleveland yesterday . There was fog, there was wind, there was snow, there was .....lot's of various forms of precipitation happening. The most important thing that happened was that at the end of the game, we had more points then them. The ONLY stat that matters is the W. The day was not ideal for the passing game. Derek Carr managed t...o go 15/24 for 112 yards. and 1 TD pass to leading receiver Hunter Renfrow, who accounted for the games only TD. It was all about the ground game which was in charge of moving the rock and the clock. Josh Jacobs was fed the ball 31 times for 128 yards. Carr was our second leading rusher with 6 carries for 41 yards. Credit must be given to the O-line who without Trent Brown,(again) managed to keep Carr upright and opened up holes for our rushing game! Kicking accounted for most of the days scoring with Daniel Carlson making 3/4 field goals. His longest being 33 yards. Defensively , it was a full squad effort. With everyone getting in on the fun. Jonathan Abram has been keeping the team fired up on his side of the ball. Like we previously said, it wasn't pretty but the job got done. Our thanks to a "capacity" crowd at Peter Dillon's yesterday. It was a soggy and cold day in New York City, and we appreciate you braving the elements to join us . We made the best of limited seating , thank you for your cooperation during this time. Hopefully it will get better in time. Our thanks to Carmine for helping with the logging in of temperatures. Looking ahead to next weeks Divisional showdown with the Chargers. That is a full week away, and we should take the time to enjoy this win. 4-3 and sitting in second place in the West. a lot of football left to play, including a bulk of our divisional games! So, It is once again, time to tie that tie, fill that travel mug with coffee, throw an extra layer on because it is cold out there, and head off into the world yelling RAAAAIIIIIDDDEERRRS! WAKE THE HELL UP NATION! You know what day it is! It is a beautiful New York Football Sunday for us today! We hope that you and yours had a enjoyable Halloween , but it's time to get back to work. I've got a cup of that all important life affirming coffee on the right, I've got some Metallica blaring in my headphones and it's time to get our selves ready for the task at hand! It's Gameday ! As a good friend of ours is so fond of saying , Rise and Shine, it's Raider Time! ... The Raiders head into Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns. The Browns and the Raiders are on similar trajectories this season. The Browns are coming into this game missing their number one wide receiver , and running back. QB Baker Mayfield is trying to make things happen for the Brownies, and he is very capable of doing so. That's where Misters Crosby and Ferrell come in! The Raiders defense didn't look fantastic last week, This week they get a chance at redemption. Derek Carr is going to try to get the offense back on track after last week. We have the downfield threats, we have the running game. Time to put up some points! Sitting at 3-3 , the Raiders have a chance to turn a corner today! It's all about the work and who's going to step up and do it! Let's do it ! Well, that sucked. Nothing else to really say except that the game sucked. The Raiders fell 45-20 yesterday at Allegant Stadium. With some key players missing on both sides of the ball, and a questionable ejection of Gabe Jackson , the Raiders were short handed. You know it's not a great day when your QB is your second best rusher. Not getting your rushing game going, and not utilizing your deep threats, ( Henry Ruggs III was only targeted 3 times, catching 2 balls for... 45 yards. ) Nelson Algholor had a good game, netting 5 catches for 107 yards. Defensively, the team did not keep up the great work they showed against the Chiefs. The pass rush was not effective, with Tom Brady having all the time in the world to do what he wanted to yesterday. He was not sacked, and was only knocked down once. The most frustrating part of this, was that the team WAS IN THE GAME in the 4th quarter. Things just went wrong and it did so quickly. Paul Gunthers Defense underperformed. If we are to have any chance of success, this needs to change QUICKLY! We had a great "capacity" crowd at Peter Dillon's yesterday. We need to thank you all for your adherence to our current COVID rules situation and for making our job easier. Our appreciation to Coach Dave and Kim for all their assistance yesterday! So, that's pretty much it. Not much else to dwell on. It's time for the team to grind this week out and get ready to face the Cleveland Browns next week. Maybe beating up Baker Mayfield would make us feel better about ourselves internally ? I donno. What I do know is that it's Monday, and we all work on Monday! So, brush your teeth, tie your tie, pour some of that coffee in your mug and head out the door. WAKE THE HELL UP NATION! You know the drill, I got the first of many cups of coffee going , I've music playing at a decibel level that is too high for a Sunday morning! It's game day! A crazy season get's crazier , as our Sunday Night game that we were not going to host, now turns into the Sunday afternoon game that we are now hosting! Due to Covid rules, we might be without our Offensive line and starting Safety . We are hopeful that some tests come back negative, an...d we get some of our line back. We're going to need them too, as Tampa Bay has a pretty decent pass rush. Derek Carr is going to need all the time he can get in the pocket if he wants to build on the success of the victory over the Chiefs. Henry Ruggs III and Nelson Agholor should give the team deep scoring threats ! Josh Jacobs will be handling the rock today, let's hope whatever our line is opens holes for him. Defensively , being without Jonathan Abrams is going to hinder our secondary. So NEXT MAN UP! Up front, you know Mad Maxx and Clelin Ferrell would love nothing more then to get a good clean hit on Tom Brady ! I think the D-line might be a little anxious today! It's a year of slaying dragons and exorcising demons. Getting the Chiefs monkey off our back was a start, Now , we deal with Brady and all the hell that he represents! The team needs to not focus on history , but rather the present! Time to take care of the business at hand! Based on a few questions that have been posed to us this week , I wanted to send you all few notes in regard to tomorrow’s game vs the Buccaneers. 1. Since the game was moved from 8:20 pm to 4:20 pm, Peter Dillon’s WILL be hosting the game . 2. The game was moved from NBC to Fox, and it is STILL Nationally televised. ( Revised) 3. We are still operating under limited capacity , indoors AND outdoors ( 24 in and out ), seating is first come , first served ! 21 and over , eve...n outside , no exception! 4. The weather report for tomorrow is less then pleasant. I would advise getting here early. We’ll be monitoring the NFL and if there are any more changes , we will let you know ASAP !
