I’ve heard every excuse in the book to avoid smiling whether it be this is how my face just is, or I don’t always think of it so I forget, and even it’s not that important. This topic is of course a result of my opinion, but I also came to these conclusions from experience. A smile affects those around you more than we realize. It’s such a small, simple gesture to add into your bus...iness practice and is sure to have positive results. At first, it might feel phony or like you’re over-smiling, but I promise you, it will help transform your attitude and confidence from the inside out. If you’re genuinely passionate about your business, let the light from inside your heart shine outwards! smiling makes you more approachable. even a small smirk rather than a on a virtual call/meeting adds to the energy of the conversation for all involved. Act as though you’re in person! The speaker is still presenting to a room, and they notice who is engaged. We have to own up to being the face of our business, so allow that face to be a happy one!
