The best part of Christmas isn’t what’s under the tree, it’s who’s around it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

It's a Christmas tradition for Santa to visit Sisters of Charity Hospital's littlest patients, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Santa and his elf's visit looked slightly different this year, but we're happy to report Saint Nick still made it from the North Pole to celebrate the babies' very first Christmas. #Christmas2020

A massive thank you to our friends at Lockwood's Greenhouses for the distribution of stunning poinsettia plants to the front line workers at our St. Joseph Campus. The flowers were generously gifted for our #healthcareheroes to brighten up their homes with a reminder of the community's gratitude for their service.

In honor of Emergency Nurses Week, one nurse is chosen to receive the ED Nurse of Distinction Award. However this year, it was unanimously agreed upon that all of ED COVID ICU Nurses at our St. Joseph Campus should be the recipient of the award. Some excerpts from the nominations include: Year 2020 has been a different kind of year. With that being said, the whole ED staff deserves this award. During COVID everyone stepped up to the plate, pulled together and did a great j...ob under scary and uncertain situations. As an outsider coming in, I have never seen such teamwork and nurses helping each other out. It was truly an honor to work side by side with them. They were all so brave! Not one person deserves to be Nurse of distinction, the entire department that stayed deserves that recognition! What they did embodies every value of CHS. Thank you for your true courage and commitment to provide the very best care to our patients every day, but especially even more so through the Covid pandemic.
