In commemoration of the day she became a Saint, 5th grade led Saint Kateri School in a Prayer Service to honor the patron Saint of our school-Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. They did a great job honoring the first Native American Saint and her love for Jesus and the Cross while also being respectful of her Native American culture. Saint Kateri Pray for us

October 12: Columbus Day Five hundred and twenty eight years ago, Christopher Columbus discovered a New World. His voyage of exploration was funded by Isabel de Castilla and Fernando de Aragon, known as Spain's Reyes Catolicos (Catholic Monarchs), and the reason the sails of his three ships, La Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria had huge crosses. The holiday in 2020 falls on the actual date which is remembered on the second Monday of October in our country.
