The truth is, Pilates is a form of resistance training using what’s called a Reformer or done on a floor mat with body weight. No form of exercise can alter your genetics. If your muscle bellies are long and tendon attachments are short, you will appear to have long muscles. A calorie is the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 g of water by 1C. So when someone asks you to reduce your calories they’re asking you to reduce the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 g of water. WTF? To be precise, you can only reduce the amount of fat protein or carbohydrate in your diet. And if body fat loss is your goal more than likely you need to reduce the amount of carbohydrate in your diet and replace with protein. #dietstupidity #countingcalories #eatproteinfirst

They eat exactly what they have evolved to eat and they eat as much of it as they like. Not a single well-fed animal in the wild is obese, diabetic or unhealthy. You don’t have to be sick. We are primarily carnivores. Plants are the food that our food eats. Obey your genetics. And sure, have a piece of chocolate every now and again - if you can.
