We are excited to announce New York State has lifted the emergency only guidelines and we can now resume full dental care including cleanings and routine dentistry. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your past visits to our office. Our strict infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in ...our practice to keep patients and team safe in addition to some new systems we have added that exceed the CDC and ADA recommendations. Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. Please call us upon arrival and wait in your car. One of our team members will meet you at your vehicle to confirm the screening questions you answered on the phone and take your temperature. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. We have installed medical grade air purification and UV disinfection systems in each room that eliminate viruses structurally similar to the Coronavirus. You will also notice our dental team wearing additional protective equipment like face shields and gowns. Please wear a mask until you are in the treatment room where you will then be offered a mouthwash that has been shown to reduce bacteria and viruses. Appointment times may be adjusted to allow for additional social distancing as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
