Great start to our IEA season (COVID Edition) We had some great rides and ribbons all day! Mackenzie Caldwell, Kiera Sims, Morgan Glidden, and Violet Badman all came away with some blues today! Andre, Pat, Brightie, Lizzie, Leah, and Dragon were all stars today and Dragon even ended up being voted favorite horse of the horse show! Our middle school team ended up winning reserve champion and Morgan Glidden also earned reserve high point middle school rider! ... Thanks to everyone for a great day and to CNY Eq for allowing us to double up on a show with you guys!

Smoke Tree had a great weekend down at Marshall and Sterling Finals! Samantha Page and her Niagara had some great rounds in the Low Child/ Adult Jumpers to finish 12th in the Classic our of a strong group! Sam also finished the year 7th overall in the League Standings in the Dover Adult Medal Morgan Glidden did amazing at her first finals with Lickety- Split! They had great rounds in the Children’s Medium Ponies and even finished 8th our of a large group of ponies Thanks to everyone who made this weekend enjoyable!

In honor of Marshall and Sterling Finals this week, we decided to dig up some throwbacks! Over the years we’ve had Ann Ealy and her own Makaveli competed in the Adult Medal Final Gabrielle Baker and Lickety Split competed in the Children’s Small/ Medium Pony Medal Final and then later on with her own Mirror Image in the Junior Medal Final (9th- 2014& 4th- 2015) Sam Page and her own Held Accountable competed in the Adult Jumpers and she also competed in the Adult Medal Final (9th- 2013) This year Sam will be showing Niagara in the Adult Medals and Low Adult Jumpers! Morgan Glidden and Lickety Split (the same one Gabrielle rode!) will be showing in the Children’s Small/ Medium Pony Hunters and Medal!! We wish them the best of luck

Smoke Tree had a great weekend down at HITS Saugerties! Sam Page and Niagara started us off with a win in the .90 meter jumpers and ended up being reserve champion in that division! She then went on to win a few more classes in the Low Child/ Adult Jumpers to take home champion Morgan Glidden and Lickety- Split had solid rounds in a competitive Children’s Small/ Medium ponies! They came home with a 4th in the Marshall and Sterling Small/ Medium Pony Medal and also a 3rd in the Children’s Pony Eq We’re looking forward to being back in Saugerties in a week for Marshall and Sterling Finals!!

Smoke Tree had a great show on Sunday at Galemont Farm! Penny Gallonio’s SWS Clarino had a fantastic show! Penny showed him for the first time and they ended up winning two classes and were Champion in the Low Hunters Gabrielle Baker and SWS Clarino also ended up Reserve Champion in their schooling division! Ann Ealy’s C Zephan went and schooled phenomenally for his first time being ridden at a horse show! ... Denise Van Patten’s Andre and Cooper both did great schooling Thank you to Galemont Farm for putting on a great show! We are so lucky to have such wonderful horses and clients

Smoke Tree had a fantastic weekend at North Riding! Olivia Stevens and Brightside had their lead line debut together! They were arguably one of the cutest duos out there and we can’t wait for more lead line classes in this pairs future Laila Kozman and her horse Lazy Dayz had a great first show! Gabrielle Baker and Lazy Dayz has some great rounds in the Green Hunters, followed up by Laila having some great rounds and even being 2nd over fences in the Novice Hunters ... Penny Gallonio’s SWS Clarino won the Suitable Handy Hunter and ended up being champion in the division with Gabrielle Baker Morgan Glidden and Lickey Split had a clean sweep of the Children’s Hunter division and won the Marshall and Sterling Children’s Classic Sam Page and Held Accountable won the North Riding Modified Derby Sam and her other horse, Niagara, had solid rounds in the .95 meter jumpers followed up by a win in the Child/ Adult Marshall and Sterling Medal and finished up the day winning the North Riding Hunter Derby Emily Giocondo and The General had another fantastic show in a big Short Stirrup division with some great ribbons over fences We are so lucky to have such great clients and horses that make a long show weekend so fun and enjoyable!!
