Location, location. As much as I thrive on the hustle and bustle of the city, a visit to Central Park is always a breath of fresh air. Sofitel New York’s location makes it easy to enjoy this charming scene. Thinking about #SofitelTurns20 leaves me with stars in my eyes, quite literally. I’ve been a major fan of Broadway for as long as I can remember, so I appreciate the expert recommendations from Sofitel New York’s concierge team during each stay. I even had the chance to spend a night in Tony Awards themed suite last year, a true homage to performing arts and theater. It was an experience unlike anything else. There are so many things I love about New York City, from its legendary museums and sparkling skyline, to its international cuisine and trendsetting fashion. I’ve always been drawn to French architecture and design. There’s just something so refined and romantic about it. So each time I step up to Sofitel New York, I feel a part of myself transported to Paris. I wish I could turn back time and stay in Sofitel New York’s Cher tribute suite again. I love a themed weekend away, and this experience truly delivered. After an extraordinary evening out on Broadway, my girlfriends and I came back to our plush suite where we even said cheers with a themed cocktail called ‘Turn Back Thyme.’ Truly a meticulous curation. I love how Sofitel New York brings people together. Last year I attended the fabulous DinerEnBlanc, which was an outstanding way to meet other guests and fashion-forward New Yorkers alike. We all donned our best white attire and enjoyed a fancy feast under the stars. I always keep tabs on which events Sofitel is organizing because the programming is exceptional.
