Can you see the hope in Miss Opal’s eyes? This beautiful 7-year-old kitty has been waiting at the shelter all summer and fall wishing that someone special would scoop her up. Some days feel harder than others, but the one thing that remains is Opal’s hope for a happy new beginning. She is a calm, sweet girl who is looking for a quieter home. She appreciates affection and is also content with having time to herself. Opal just wants someone to love and to spend all her days with. Snowball is beautiful and she shines like a bright star! Her markings are unique from her head to her toes, and her fur is a lovely mixture of white, tan, gray and black. She has a pink nose that’s as cute as button and light green eyes that invite you to give her lots of love. Snowball adores affection and interacting with people, and she also appreciates quality alone time...making her a well balanced kitty. What a fabulous companion she will make! She loves other kitty friends and would probably do fine with kids and dogs also!

If approved we will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet the dog or cat that you are interested in.

I’m Mew, and all I want for the holidays, and for all of my life, is someone to love. I came to the shelter two months ago, and every day I pull out all the stops to show how much I want to be adopted. I am warm, gentle, friendly, and live for pets and snuggles. In fact, my greatest ambition In life is to become a lap cat. But first I need for someone to care about me. And then we can leave the shelter together as the best of friends.
