Does this menu sound about right to you? Many children I work with have selective and preferred styles of eating right down to the brand of chicken nuggets. This is where feeding therapists come in. Feeding therapists are trained to help your child develop and show interest in various food categories, colors and textures. ... I stand behind my feeding therapy sessions and I personally guarantee them. I’ve never left a session where I have not seen some progress. Some might disagree, but I never recommend the wait and see approach for selective and picky eaters as it gets harder to manage balanced nutrition as time goes on. If you have any questions about feeding therapy please reach out to me! #feedingtime #speechinthecity #feedingtherapy See more
Speech milestones from ages one to three! By 1 says one or two words like moo By 2 Puts two words together, like want up... By 3 uses two or three words like go yellow car Sometimes kids say more or less depending on so many factors... which is why SLPs have specialized training to determine if there’s a disorder or delay present. We don’t just look for speech sound production as a means a for delays and disorders. We look at the whole child and check for a multitude of things including comprehension, play styles, interactions, and social play. #speechinthecity #speaking #babymilestones See more
