Spencer Speedway Drag Racing

This weekend will be our final weekend of Drag Racing at Spencer Speedway for the 2016 season, and it's gonna be a big one!!! Starting out the weekend we will have our regular Summit Racing Points Series race (S/P, Pro, Street) with time trials at 5:30pm and Eliminations starting at 7:30pm! Then to end our holiday weekend right, were gonna finish it off with another race on Monday! Thats right!! It's the PAL AL WHITE 2ND ANNUAL MEMORIAL RACE! This race was set up with the help of Charles White in memory of the passing of his father Al White, so come out and lets have a great day of racing! Gates open at 10:00am with Time Trials starting promptly at Noon. Big money in the purses Monday so we expect to have a hell of a turnout! See you all this weekend!!!!

I am very sorry to have to sit here to write this message to all of you, but unfortunately I have bad news again. There will be NO RACING at Spencer Speedway tonight (8/20/16). Our regular prep crew was at the track this morning preparing for what was expected to be a great night of racing, and we received a phone call from the track owner that we will not be racing tonight... Again this is not a decision from the track crew or management, but we can't do anything about it a...nd unfortunately we have no answers for you at this time. I will keep everyone updated as soon as we have any information, we are trying to preserve the rest of the season and would like to start making plans for next year, so PLEASE keep any negative comments to yourself. I know this is not easy to hear, it's not easy for us either, but we are trying to stay positive and keep looking forward, and not lose what we have built up to this point. Can't make any promises, but as of right now we are still dry! Radar looks like the bad weather should be staying south of us, so we are still intending to run! Any changes will be posted. Tonight will be our regular Summit E.T. Points Series with Street, Pro, and Super Pro, as well as the qualifier for King Of The Track in Super Pro! That means all you Delay Box nuts better be here and on your game!

OFFICIAL UPDATE: RACING 5/14/16 WILL BE CANCELED. After spending some time this afternoon looking at the track and getting ready, we had another front come through at 2:30. Unfortunately weather conditions are going to prevent us from running tonight... Look forward to seeing you all next week!

ATTENTION RACING COMMUNITY!! We as the North Eastern Bracket Club are looking for your input on the topic of FUNDRAISERS to raise money for the drag racing program! Our goal is to increase funds for the club so that we can have BIGGER, CONSISTENT PAYOUTS. 100% of the money raised will go towards weekly racing payouts. We are looking for fundraiser ideas such as possible events, sales, etc. that will help us raise this money to help out the racers. Please comment with any ideas you have.
