After much planning and hard work Claire completed Life in the time of COVID-19: Space Cats. At first glance, an ethereal space scene. Looking closer, a series of cats, separated and distant. The COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges to the Springville community in a variety of ways. We sought to reflect on the experience by commissioning this mural with financial support from the Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation as part of an expanding public art progra...m. Let's here it for Public Art! In residence with us for three weeks, Bryan Metzdorf has worked with local students and begun installation of a mural on the corner of Main and Mechanic Streets. Thank you Albright-Knox!
