Special shout out to our three 4th grade walk-trot riders who are all taking part in both the dressage AND hunt seat IEA teams this year! All three have taken huge strides in their riding lately. They were also notably enthusiastic helpers with everything that went into hosting our shows this weekend. The future of Spruce Valley Stables and Certainty Sales is looking strong! Ribbons are great, but the fun and friendships are even better. We want to take a moment to thank all the sponsors, parents, volunteers, and most importantly, the horses for making this weekend such a success! We really are lucky to have a barn full of unicorns . Congratulations to our high school and middle school teams for both taking home high point today and to Grace and Jaelyn for taking home high point rider awards.

Great day for all at today’s show. Our high school and middle schools both took home High Point and Megan Conway was the sportsmanship winner! Grace was the high point high school rider and Kenzie was the reserve. Jaelyn was the high point middle school rider and Kiley was the horse of the show! Thanks to everyone who helped make today a success!

We are pleased to be hosting two IEA dressage shows this weekend at SVS! The first show, Saturday, is the Reinwood IEA Team show and the second on Sunday is the Spruce Valley Stables IEA Team show. It is so exciting when you have a break through with a student. Jess has been working hard to improve her position and balance while riding and today we found a missing link thanks to a simple polo wrap around her waist. It helped her find the correct timing to swing her hips and stay plugged into the saddle. Special thanks to Carma today for being a perfect angel while we tried different ideas and techniques And to Jess for playing along with all my crazy/fun ideas. Top two pics are from today. Ok. One last post. It was a bit cold for my tast but still a great weekend at Regional Championships! What a season Grace and Maestro had! Congratulations See you all in 2021.
