911 911 911 Tonight’s emergency is an especially sickening & disgusting story. Some people who went to dump their garbage at a middle Georgia dump lat...e today, came upon the UNTHINKABLE, a cardboard box full of what appeared to be DEAD puppies. Upon closer exam, they discovered 1 was actually still alive, MADISON here & they rushed her to the local shelter to try to save her. The shelter reached out to us & of course, as upsetting as this story is, we said YES & baby Madison was rushed to the closest vet for urgent lifesaving care. You can see the swelling on the side of her face & the vet says it’s a fracture. Her teeth on that side of her head now are facing backwards, going in the wrong direction!!! Of course, baby Madison did not do this to herself. This box of puppies were literally dumped like garbage at the local dump to suffer & die alone. Madison is a miracle! Despite likely being hit with some type of hard object, she defied the odds & lived. Sadly, her siblings were not so lucky. We are so sick & upset over this because there is just NO excuse for this depraved act. Obviously, these poor babies were unwanted, why not take to a shelter?!!! Why in the world would anyone hit them, dump them & leave them with yesterday’s garbage to die?! What a sad world we live in. While we cannot say exactly what happened to Madison’s brothers & sisters, we can be sure they faced what she did or worse. She was just lucky enough to be found in time by these good samaritans with a conscience. Madison is on strong pain meds & antibiotics tonight & will have x-rays in the morning. Her head, face & mouth were so painful, her doctor did not want to push her any further tonight. Please keep this tiny 6 week old angel in your thoughts & prayers. Will you join the fight to help save baby Madison??? SAM WAS RESCUED BUT NEEDS A FOSTER!! He is in boarding and needs out. Poor little guy needs a home and some TLC DIES TOMORROW!!!! 5/2 SAM HAS B...EEN WALKED TO THE BACK!! THE NEXT WALK WILL BE TO HIS FINAL RESTING PLACE WHERE HE TAKES HIS LAST BREATH SWEET SENIOR #SAM #A1925973 HAS BEEN AT THE SHELTER FOR OVER 2 MONTHS MAYBE IT’S JUST A LACK OF EXPOSURE. PLEASE DON’T LET HIM BECOME ANOTHER TERRIER OVERLOOKED AMONGST SO MANY. THAT FACE IS UNFORGETTABLE! IT JUST NEEDS TO BE SEEN PER A VOLUNTEER who knows sweet Sam.... He is extreme-overlooked. I was wondering if it might be notable for your post that Sam is teeny maybe just 35 pounds which may distinguish him from some of the other dogs. He also has a calm senior energy and a little limp which might make him work in a smaller house or apt. I am a male brown and white Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old. I was found as a stray and I may be available for adoption on 01/13/2018. http://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=MIAD.A1925973 Located at Miami Dade animal service 3599 NW. 79th Ave. Miami Doral Florida 3058841101 or 311 Email [email protected]
