State Lanes in Falconer NY

So here we have it. This time of year coming up is half season. It was and is a timeframe you know when you grow up as a Rexroad. Special league postings showed the stars of the first half. Today, we are remembering the Christmas parties we have enjoyed over the years. Hams were given out to the winners just before Christmas. Big pans of food came in. Jack Daniels was poured. Ladies ordered grasshoppers and a few asked for a Stroh’s. It was the time of Koch’s Holid...ay beer. Tom and Jerry mix stayed nearby as the temperatures dipped. The Senior Citizens exchanged cookies. The chocolate no bakes and the plates of Italian cookies were amazing, Coffee flowed. There were special red pin tournaments and parent child tournaments. There was a silver tree with one of those color wheeled lights that spun around. The coats and boots on Saturdays were a pile at the coat rack. State Lanes’ entry was to the 8 lanes of a living room filled with friends who came to eat and bowl and share some cheer. Oh, we love these memories. Well, this year is different. The gatherings are smaller. The parties are limited. It is quieter. Thanks to you we have remained true to the protocol rules. Thank you. And thank you for buying bowling balls and bags and shoes. We love customizing that fit for you. Your league participation remains loyal to each other and to us. Thank you. We know that these memories are deep into three and for some four generations. We know we will have these wonderful, loud times again. Until then, know that the warmth we feel is from our life long friends who love our village too. Keep the faith. We are still here and plan to see this through to full capacity again. That will be a memory! Share your memory, please. We need to capture the holidays in our 61 years. We have been together 61 years. Yep. That’s the relationship we have with our customers. You are family. You are generations of families bowling. You have been with us through this pandemic, and all the other things that families go through. Thank you. Please know that before we close our eyes at night, we thank God for you and pray for you. We look forward to every morning, doing a little more, being a little better and feeling great about being able to see you again. Yes, we are the little place in the little village but our heart is huge due to the love we have for you all! Thank you. Now let’s bowl!

Well, this certainly isn’t the way we wanted to celebrate 60 years in the business. Know that we will open safely and as soon as we are allowed to open.
