The 42nd Annual Saint George Ukrainian Festival opening night, Friday May 18th! The Dobriansky Brothers opened the Festival with the Ukrainian and American Nat...ional Anthems. Fr. Emilian Dorosh welcomed everyone and said a prayer for a successful and joyous 3 days. Consulate General, Consul General in NY, Mr. Oleksii Holubov welcomed the Ukrainian and the Lower Eastside Community, thanking all for their support of Ukraine. Councilwoman Carlina Rivera, District 2 of the NYC Council joined in in welcoming our annual Festival with well wishes. Our MC's Andrij Stasiw and Olesya Shumskal with great pride introduced the performers throughout the evening.

Due to the rain, stage shows are scheduled to take place at Saint George Auditorium. Festival kitchen is also at the school! Через погодн умови, фестивальна програма та кухня переноситься до аудитор Академю Св. Юра.

Please keep in mind: All our volunteers, including a person managing social media accounts and a festival email, are currently on the street managing the festival. We may not be able to post festival updates or respond to emails until the festival is over. A team of volunteers have been working hard to make this event happen.Come enjoy the festival!
