When Reed had trouble using his right hand after treatment for brain cancer, his nutritionist at St. Jude recommended cooking classes as a form of physical therapy. Former St. Jude patient Michael, now a research trainee at the NIH, had his first research paper published for the targeted treatment of inborn errors of immunity. He also contributed to several papers recently published in Science Magazine, including the discovery of genetic factors associated with severe COVID-19.
