Storied is closed Thursday 10/8 due to power loss... BUT we are currently seeking a location for an espresso pop-up and bake sale! The rumors are swirling! Let’s set the record straight: Storied is not leaving Scotia! Rather, we’re pleased to announce the addition of a 2nd Storied location in conjunction with the new @binspiredlifestyle on Upper Union Street in Schenectady inside the former Simon’s Menswear location. It’s two stores in one! An expanded home, gift and lifestyle retail experience curated by b.inspired home plus a full Storied espresso and bubble tea bar featuring our signature drink men...us and baked goods complete with seating to enjoy. Both brands are aiming for a November 2020 opening. Storied thrives on those neighborhood vibes and we’re excited to partner with our former Scotia neighbor to bring something fun and community focused to another side of Schenectady. STORIED | coffee & milk teas We’re proud to present a new look for Storied that captures more of the heart of what we do: provide for memorable experiences through specialty coffee, milk teas & more. When we got started, our main focus was coffee but we also planned to include bubble tea on our menu (inspired by our relationship with our friends @shortandstout.tea, from whom we get all of our loose-leaf teas for steeping and using in our milk teas). We love boba drinks and w...anted to help introduce more folks to them as we pursued our vision to help elevate the standard for artisan beverages, food & drinks in the Schenectady area. Along with S&S, we’ve been truly inspired by another company called @bobaguys whose #fightthepowder approach to traditional bubble tea challenged us to produce a delicious milk tea that had more authentic tea flavor and felt a little healthier than bubble tea made with powders (we also love those but it’s not a style that reflects who we are at Storied!). Aesthetically, we also felt it was time for a logo with a little more depth of character that could involve some standalone elements. Expect some new Storied march in the future! Oh and if that sounds like big news, wait for it
