It’s been ten years since the first time I photographed Lino @linorulli , accompanied by my son @mikebruno36 . It was an interesting time in my path to FaithI ...was trying to square being publicly Catholic and being a regular guy, and Lino inspired me on a deep level that you don’t have to tryyou JUST DO IT. And I’ve been striving to ever since. This past week I had the honor, along with my buddy Jake Hart @obloodandwater (who is in the photo’s standing in for Lino, during a lighting check) to spend a day in the studio, and on the street, with Lino, to capture a fresh set of images. There are those who might not take what he does seriouslythat’s a mistake, he bridges the gap that we’re all struggling to make sense of; you can be proudly and staunchly Catholic and normal. And to those who are fans of Lino, know this; Lino is one of the kindest, most humble, and by far the funniest guy you’d ever want to meet.
