On this day, 70 years ago, Sunny Acres welcomed the 5th generation on the farm! Some of you may know him as Doc, Doug, the good doctor or Dougie Fresh, but we’re fortunate enough to call him dad and we’d like to wish him the happiest of birthdays! Thank you for the knowledge, support, and wisdom throughout the years. We hope that you look back and see all the greatness that you have accomplished. Thanks for holding down the fort while we’re at the show carrying on the legacy of Sunny Acres.

With Expo being cancelled this year it seems like everyone is reliving the past and sharing their favorite WDE memories of years gone by. And while we’ve had many many great years at World Dairy Expo, I think it’s safe to say that 2013 might be the best one so far. On this day 7 years ago Sunny Acres TSB Silk was 1st place 4 Year Old and went on to win Senior and Grand Champion of the Ayrshire show. It was an incredible feeling that we hope to one day repeat!!
