Directions to the Aubergine Cafe by public transportation. Take the #7 Flushing Line LOCAL train to the 52nd Street elevated station in Queens. When you exit to the street, walk north on either 51st or 52nd Street to Skillman Avenue.... Turn left (west) onto Skillman Avenue without crossing it, and walk either one or two short blocks to 50th Street. The Aubergine Cafe will be on the SW corner.

We just learned that Sunnyside Singers Club member Mike Glick was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital for Covid-19 and pneumonia on Tuesday, March 31st. The good news is that he is not in an ICU and he has not on a ventilator. Let us all keep Mike in our thoughts and wish him a speedy and full recovery. Meanwhile, we have heard from another Sunnyside Singers Club member, Pamela Agaloos, who had been admitted to Elmhurst Hospital for Covid-19. She reports that her condition has much improved, and she expects to be discharged soon, possibly as early as today, April 2nd.
