Today’s #MeetTheCrewMonday has too many letters after her name to list, but such a long list of accomplishments! Lisa Kettunen is both a Flight Paramedic & Flig...ht Nurse with LifeNet of NY. Lisa began as a volunteer with Otego Volunteer Fire Dept. EMS Squad, then completed the Cobleskill Paramedic Program and worked for Cooperstown Medical Transport while working towards her RN through Hartwick College. Lisa comes to Air Methods with experience in Bassett Medical Center ICU along with continued roles in education for SUNY Cobleskill Paramedic Program. Lisa has a great passion for education and loves to continue to develop her roles as an educator for both EMS providers and nursing students. You will see her beautiful smiling face as part of Air Methods’ outreach education program and various roles to assist in growing better providers here at LifeNet of New York. Thank you Lisa for providing excellent care and for being a positive driving force in making our flight teams better each and every day

Schoharie County has 95 active cases of COVID-19 in isolation and an additional 333 people in quarantine. We have had one additional death, bringing our total t...o 6. There have been a total of 943 cases, and over 800 of those cases have occurred since mid-November and the beginning of the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's holiday cycle. Now our numbers appear to be going back down a bit. Take a fresh look at what you are doing to minimize your risk of catching COVID and passing it on to your loved ones. This is the time to really buckle down to keep that curve moving in the right direction. Wear a mask, limit your social circle, distance, wash your hands and stay home if you are sick. See more

If you were unable to schedule a vaccination appointment for tomorrow, please know that we will continue to request vaccine and will offer additional clinics as... soon as we have vaccine available. We’ll get you in as soon as we can ! If you have an appointment scheduled for Thursday, you MUST bring proof that you are eligible as an essential employee. That can be a work ID, a pay stub, or a letter from your employer. You should also bring proof of residency in New York. (You do not necessarily have to reside in Schoharie County.)
