Thank you to all who dropped by to pay their respects to Susan B. Anthony's life and legacy on such a momentous day!
The story of Mary Anthony is one not told as often as her older sister Susan. Jason, one of our interpreters, stoped by the museum today to highlight the important role Mary held in her sisters life and in the Suffrage movement.
Thank you, Jeanette, for the beautiful bouquet in honor of Susan B. Anthony.

Another one of our wonderful docents, Mariedeliz, wanted to share the story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the Declaration of Sentiments. Stanton added the clause that women should have the right to vote in all US elections. You can read the entire declaration here: https://www.nps.gov//history/declaration-of-sentiments.htm
While on this momentous Election Day, we cannot safely accommodate drop in tours, one of our docents Lola, took a visit to Susan B Anthony's study to share with you the story of Susan's alligator purse! #susanbinspiresme
The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester submitted this video to our Suffragist City Parade! #susanb2020 #becauseofwomenlikeher
