The Sweethearts & Heroes Intro to HOPE is a 4-part elementary video series that works to address and stop bullying in schools by activating young individuals to give HOPE and take action when they see peers being mistreated, bullied, or feeling hopeless. The Intro to HOPE addresses the true definition of bullying, noting it is different than merely disruptive or confrontational behavior, citing the intentional fear and/or intimidation bullies seek to inflict habitually upon those who feel smaller or weaker. The Intro to HOPE seeks to create a unified definition of bullying that helps coalesce the language for teachers and parents to use both in and out of school and provides practical strategies for kids to ‘Jump into Action’ and help and/or save those who may be struggling or in danger.
