Due to the impending snowstorm we have decided to cancel all morning lessons for Monday, February 1st. We will make a decision about afternoon lessons by noon tomorrow. Stay safe and warm everyone!

We are proud supporters of Stop Drowning Now. SwimJim believes in the Stop Drowning Now mission because swim lessons are not enough; not every child can afford or access swimming lessons. When they are faced with a life-threatening drowning situation, then they may not know how to respond to save themselves or another. Educating children about drowning risk before they ever reach the pool makes drowning prevention education a higher priority, and compliments the skills they... learn in swim class. Stop Drowning Now has the program and technology to reach kids early, making drowning prevention just as important as seatbelt safety, fire safety and other safety education we take for granted. Today, on #GivingTuesday, we are asking for your donation. With donation matching, we have the opportunity to raise enough money to educate thousands of children nationwide. If we can raise $500 today, 2 elementary schools will receive a free set of the Stop Drowning Now Storyboards. That means 1,000 students in our community will be safer. Any dollar amount helps. Thank you!

It is 4X better than a classroom and 8X better than an office space. The United States Swim School Association has been tracking reports of COVID transmissions at swim schools across the country. A recent survey found the rate of confirmed COVID-19 transmission at swim schools is an incredibly low 0.004%... - with ZERO cases of transmission among students! Summer has come and gone and it’s time to go back to school. But for families across America, that experience has drastically changed. As families try to navigate school amid a deadly pandemic, Sesame Street and CNN are teaming up for The ABCs of Back to School, A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Families. THIS MORNING (Saturday) 10am EST/9 am Central.

Many indoor pools are still not allowed to be open. This means that children are not learning life saving swimming skills, older adults that need pools for exercise and their health do not have access and people that use pools to stay fit are left without a place to swim. We can open pools safely. Please read the petition and if you agree sign it. We need to open pools to save lives.
