Terryville Fire Department

Well Done Terryville FD On January 5, 2021, the Terryville Fire Department responded to a well involved bedroom fire on Nostrand Ave. Firefighters gained entry to the home and rescued several pets that were in the burning home. TFD EMS revived several cats that were carried out of the burning home by firefighters. Sadly, a few pets were lost in the fire. Our sympathy goes out to the family that suffered the loss of their pets and home. -Photos Dennis Whittam

Please remember to clear the snow and ice off of the top of your vehicle. The sheets of ice that blow off while you drive are extremely hazardous to other vehicles behind you.

If you can stay home, please do so.

As we get ready for the impending winter storm, we are once again asking for your help with keeping those hydrants clear. Seconds count in an emergency.
